Description: Under the auspices of the Cuyahoga Early Intervention Collaborative (CCEIC).  CCEIC is the organization mandated by the Ohio Department of Health to oversee the implementation of federal early intervention legislation and state early intervention initiative.  We are a planning body of families, providers and others in the community committed to a comprehensive, family centered Early Intervention System for infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities or delays.  All these services are free, confidential and voluntary.

North Coast Community Homes, Inc. (NCCH) is a nonprofit organization which develops and manages housing for individuals with disabilities. Since its inception in 1984, NCCH has developed 127 properties with 155 rental units in 54 municipalities in Cuyahoga, Summit, Lake and Stark counties, and serves over 660 individuals with mental retardation, severe mental illness and other disabilities.

Their purpose is to deliver (and later return) 135 physically and/or mentally challenged young people, ages 16 to 22, for vocational training that will prepare them to the area's labor assets.
The school's training program is supported by the State of Ohio, as well as the participating school districts. CEVEC's staff includes 10 certified teachers, along with 20 support assistants, so the teacher-student ratio is approximately 1 to 40.
